A beautiful, un-spoilt area in the heart of Isaan Province, Thailand. The course offers a unique location in this relatively tourist free part of Thailand What we would like to do, is invite the golfer to experience their sport within the Kingdom of Thailand but also to see what a treasure trove of culture abounds within this special area! Our golf course is a relaxing environment, with many unique features which await the golf tourist. The golfing experience can be a challenge as 13 of the 18 holes have at least 1 water hazard plus the inevitable “beach”!     We are located 50km North East of Khon Kaen and 70km South of Udon Thani. This is a small, friendly community, offering visitors an opportunity to experience traditional Thai hospitality without any of the normal tourist traps. As well as its natural beauty and tranquil surroundings, Ubolrat offers a full 18 hole Golf Course, which is virtually unused from Monday to Friday every week. Golfers from the local area, plus those traveling from Khon Kaen, frequent the course at the weekends. The course is situated alongside the Nampong River, which starts it’s journey from the Ubolrat Lake. The lake is a vast body of water which provides the local community with both food and recreation facilities. Ubolrat is indeed a special place! To have your golf vacation here at Ubolrat you will be joining some very special people who choose to take their vacation here. The greatly admired and loved King of Thailand has a holiday home overlooking the lake! Yes..Ubolrat is a very special place.

    The province of Isaan is a very unique part of Thailand. There is a very large influence from neighbouring Laos, with language, music & dance indigenous to the area. If you are interested in seeing more than just the golf course, we have numerous tours of the area where you will be able to see Thai culture at it’s best! Many temples dot the landscape and are viewable to the tourist. Please consider that this area is virtually un-spoilt from a tourists viewpoint. We are 500 kilometres to the north east of Bangkok and so, well off the tourist track. This is where we feel that Ubolrat has a distinct advantage.
